Cookie & Tracking Technologies Policy

This Policy explains how FortisNest and EACT Technologies OÜ may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, pixels, advertising identifiers and similar technologies on the FortisNest website, web application and mobile application.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small data files used by websites. Mobile applications may use SDKs, device identifiers, local storage and similar technologies that perform comparable functions. We refer to these collectively as “tracking technologies” where appropriate.

2. Strictly necessary technologies

FortisNest may use technologies necessary to provide requested functionality, including authentication, session management, load balancing, security, fraud prevention, user-interface settings and consent-preference storage. Where applicable law permits these without consent because they are strictly necessary, they may operate automatically.

3. Functional technologies

Optional functionality may use technologies that remember preferences or provide enhanced features. Where consent is required, these will remain disabled until the required choice is made.

4. Analytics

We may introduce analytics tools to understand product performance, diagnose errors and measure usage. If an analytics technology requires consent in a user’s jurisdiction, it will not be activated for that user before consent.

5. Advertising

FortisNest intends to display advertising in its web and mobile applications. Advertising may be contextual/non-personalized or personalized. Advertising providers may use SDKs, cookies, advertising identifiers or similar technologies to deliver, measure, cap frequency or personalize ads.

Where consent is required for personalized advertising or advertising-related tracking, we will request it separately. A user’s acceptance of the FortisNest Terms will not automatically be treated as consent to optional ad tracking. Where feasible and legally appropriate, users who decline optional tracking may still receive contextual or non-personalized advertisements.

6. Consent controls

Where required, the interface will provide an affirmative choice before optional technologies are activated. Consent records may include the user/account identifier, consent categories, policy/consent version, date/time and subsequent withdrawal or preference changes. Users will be given a way to revisit applicable privacy or advertising preferences.

7. Current website status

This published policy is designed to cover the planned FortisNest web and mobile applications. It does not mean that every technology described here is currently active on fortisnest.com. We will update disclosures when specific analytics or advertising providers are deployed.

8. Browser and device controls

Browsers and operating systems may provide controls for cookies, advertising identifiers or tracking. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent authentication or other core functionality from working.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy when our technologies, vendors or legal obligations change.
